How it works

From scattered notes
to shared understanding.

Start small. Add a few documents, ask a useful question, and keep the sources close.

01
Bring your knowledge

A home for the context.

Create a workspace and verify your email. Add documents directly, or import UTF-8 text and Markdown files. Categorize them and attach an optional source URL. Knowtiq never fetches that URL.

02
Ask, then explore

A question, in your own words.

Knowtiq ranks relevant passages inside your workspace. Keyword retrieval always works. A configured AI provider adds semantic embeddings and generates an answer using those passages.

03
Keep the source

Clarity you can check.

Open the cited document, inspect the exact excerpt, and review its revision date. When evidence is missing, the app tells you. If AI is unavailable, it returns clearly labeled source excerpts.

People still decide
what is correct.

AI answers can contain mistakes. Citations validate the source references; they cannot guarantee every generated statement is correct.

Use your team's judgment before acting on an answer. Members can read every document in their workspace; document-level permissions are planned.

Start with what your team knows

Your next answer is
already in your documents.

Give it a place where everyone can find it.
